Derived from a combination of MX and street motorcycle design, the new SMX Waterproof Jacket incorporates elements of MX design in the materials, performance fit, and graphics of the jacket, along with performance features from street riding, such as the DFS Lite external shoulder and waterproof membrane that provide additional protection for all-weather riding. With a main chassis constructed from 600D poly-fabric and stretch softshell for the optimal combination of durability, lightweight, and comfort, this jacket features subtly incorporated, class-leading Nucleon Flex Plus armor for proven impact protection. The SMX Jacket has a fixed waterproof membrane for proven wet weather performance and a removable thermal liner, allowing it to be easily adapted to weather conditions for real-world versatility.

Featuring an engineered fit designed to offer the highest level of active upper body protection, the jacket is Tech-Air Ready and can accommodate the Tech-Air® 5 or Tech-Air® 3 Airbag System. Strategically placed stretch panel inserts have been designed to accommodate a Tech-Air® Airbag System, allowing for expansion when the airbag inflates and offering a high level of anatomical performance and a superior fit when riding without the system fitted.
Level 1 Nucleon Flex Plus armor on the shoulders and elbows offers optimal impact and abrasion resistance, while being extremely flexible for optimal comfort.
Textile construction with large softshell panels for the optimal combination of fit, comfort, lightness and freedom of movement.

An engineered sports fit and pre-curved sleeves for optimal riding performance.
Chassis constructed from a 315g/m² 3-layer stretch poly-fabric and softshell blend with 15k breathability for lightweight comfort, durability, and a fixed 2-layer waterproof membrane for proven wet weather performance.
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment on outer shell for added wet weather performance.
The detachable thermal liner (100g body, 80g sleeves) allows you to configure the jacket to suit the weather.
DFS Lite shoulders with dynamic friction shield on the shoulder for increased abrasion resistance.
The back of the jacket is extended for added coverage while riding.
Shockproof drawstring at waist for a secure closure.
Low profile sport collar construction with soft lining for increased rider comfort.
Two front zippered pockets, two chest pockets, one internal waterproof document pocket and two internal lining pockets to safely store valuables.
