SHOEI GT-AIR 2 TESSERACT TC-10 HELMET

Shoei GT-Air II Tesseract TC-10 Helmet. Shoei evolves its famous Sport-Touring helmet and creates the Gt-Air 2, with the latest technological innovations. GT-Air 2 is the most modern and has a ventilation system and a fully evolved internal padding. It stands out by offering a very compact design and with the possibility of installing a communication system completely integrated with the design of the helmet.

Technical features

Safety

The outer shell (external structure) is made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix): Made of organic and multi-composite fibres with various layers of fibres that absorb impacts optimally.

The inner shell (internal structure) is composed of two parts of EPS of different densities which provide a high degree of impact absorption.

It incorporates the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System), which facilitates the extraction of the helmet from the outside in the event of an accident by removing the side padding.

It includes a micrometric adjustment closure system made of 100% stainless steel. The position of the belt has changed compared to the previous model, to provide greater comfort and to avoid possible friction.

SNC-1 visor, which offers a wide field of vision and guarantees 99% UV protection. Pinlock Evo series always clear vision, in any weather conditions. The visor mechanism has been redesigned and equipped with a hermetic edge with water drainage points. It has a micro-opening system of the visor to ventilate the helmet and anti-fog in extreme cases. The visor is easily removable without tools.

The inner padding of the new GT-Air 2 is made of different types of fabrics. We have used fabrics that offer high moisture absorption and quick drying in the cheek and forehead area.

3D central padding for maximum comfort.

Cheek padding in different layers of polyurethane of different densities for greater comfort and fit.

Removable and washable padding in the ear area to reduce noise.

Side padding design optimized for glasses wearers.

Fully removable and washable padded interior.

QSV-2 sun visor with anti-fog and anti-scratch treatment with 99% UV protection. Visor easily operated from the outside even with thick gloves. It is approved according to the provisions of the European standard for sunglasses and is easily removable without tools.

Ventilation

Redesigned ventilation system, consisting of adjustable air inlets in the upper area and on the chin guard and 2 air intakes fully integrated into the rear and nape spoilers.

The airflow achieved with the new ventilation system has been significantly increased compared to the previous model.

Aerodynamic

The aerodynamics have been improved and studied in the wind tunnel to make it quieter.

Communication

The Shoei GT-Air 2 features the ability to integrate the Sena SRL communication system (sold separately).

The new communication system does not affect the aesthetics of the hull line.
