The Sand series is a REV'IT! brand icon that embodies a distinctive style that, over the years, has defined the journey within the motorcycle industry. The legacy continues with the Sand 5 H2O jacket. The Evolution The latest iteration of the Sand series is an evolution rather than a novelty. The change is noticeable in small modifications and adjustments aimed at improving overall performance. The Sand 5 jacket (part of the Sand 5 outfit with matching pants) remains as current today as it was fifteen years ago. In creating the Sand 5, we achieved a delicate balance, paying homage to the past and looking to the future. This product contains recycled polyester: • Outer shell contains 67% recycled polyester • Inner lining of the outer shell contains 31% recycled polyester: • Removable waterproof lining contains 36% recycled polyester • Removable thermal lining contains 100% recycled polyester Changing Styles The Sand 5 H2O jacket has a slightly sportier character than the Sand 4. Adventure motorcycles are becoming increasingly sporty and dynamic, and the Sand 5 H2O reflects this industry change. The Sand 5 H2O jacket, combining the pace of sport with the thirst for adventure, blends two genres into one. Additionally, the jacket is prepared for a hydration pack in the lower back pocket (as in our Trail vest), with a cut in the left corner to route a water tube under the arm and to the front, to be secured on the left side. The Over and Under Concept As we already did with one of our ADV jackets, the Offtrack 2 H2O, we applied our know-how on the over and under waterproof lining concept to the Sand 5 H2O jacket. The detachable hydratex 3L lining can be worn over or under the protective layer, depending on personal preference, to keep the rain out and stay dry. We recommend wearing it over, for the high-performance characteristics of the membrane and for its aesthetic value. To increase warmth and comfort on cold and rainy days, a detachable thermal lining that can be worn separately is also included.
