Bomber jackets were originally designed to keep World War I pilots warm in open cockpits, but by 1927 they had evolved into the classic we know and love, with a ribbed collar, waist, and cuffs that added extra wind protection and insulation. These new details also shaped the bomber look sported by the new REV'IT! Travon. A true crossover. The lightest jacket we've ever made, the Travon features technology originally designed for motorcycle touring and adventure. In a way, it's a crossover, but you wouldn't know it from its authentic bomber-jacket lines. We didn't want the technical innovation to detract from the aesthetics: the front zipper and underarm vents, the CE-rated SEESMART protectors at the shoulders and elbows, and the SEESOFT Type RV back protector don't detract from this jacket's iconic style. Fashion that works. The reimagining of a classic began with the creation of a design that turns heads and ensures you look great both on and off the bike. But it's in the saddle that you'll truly appreciate its performance: the single-layer stretch lining moves with you, the tabs at the neck and waist customize the fit, and the jacket easily attaches to trousers thanks to a double jeans loop.
