Offering shoe-like comfort with boot-like protection, the Superfaster Tech motorcycle shoes measure approximately 25 cm in height, offering the rider better overall coverage and, more importantly, incorporating more sophisticated protection, such as integrated lower shin impact protection and the new, semi-rigid internal ankle brace system with malleolus impact protection and Achilles extension protection. Providing additional protection on top of the Superfaster are double-injected ankle discs, TPR lateral panels on the outer ankle, a TPU-reinforced heel counter, and a layered TPR toe cap with lateral toe slider reinforcement. The sole itself features Alpinestars' TPF Transverse Protection Frame midsole, which consists of multiple layers of protection to prevent the foot from bending or twisting in the wrong directions, while also including soft PU foam, an EVA heel counter, and a removable, breathable OrthoLite® insole. The Superfaster provides all-day protection on the bike with all-day walking and standing comfort. The rest of the Superfaster's chassis is constructed from advanced microfiber and Rideknit® panels with seamless heat-sealed seams, held securely in place on the rider's foot with a quick-lace system and a long medial side zipper opening. The overall design is also sculpted with a flex zone designed for freedom of movement, featuring a pre-bent forward construction for riding comfort and an overall low profile that allows the Superfaster to fit easily under any motorcycle pants.
