Ambient Sound:
Listening with headphones or earbuds allows you to isolate yourself from the world and immerse yourself in your favorite music. All of these important sounds could prevent us from an accident or allow us to arrive at our destination on time.

Listening Optimizer:
The size and shape of your head and ears impact how you perceive sound from your headphones or earphones. Yamaha's Listener Optimizer uses an ear microphone to measure the insulation and airflow of different ear shapes every 20 seconds. Playback is optimized in real time to correct the difference between a source and actual listening conditions, allowing sound reproduction that is tailored to the listener.

Listening Care:
Listening Care aims to optimize the volume balance taking into account a static (unchanging) volume setting of your device. However, the volume of a content changes continuously as the dynamic range and recording volume vary, as well as depending on the level of background noise that will lead you to intervene on the volume of the device. In particular, with strong background noise you will spontaneously turn up the listening volume. Listening Care present on the EP-E70/YH-E700 has a real-time adaptive approach that calculates the average volume every 0.7ms, taking into account the data of the last 5 seconds. The correction applied to the 4-band equalization is adaptive and takes into account the average volume. The optimization is therefore much more accurate and ideal for the volume of the content. To ensure a natural intervention, the correction parameters are also applied slowly over time. The listening experience is personalized to the music and the environment with a sound that is perfectly individual, tailored to you.
